Our client seeks a strategic and hands-on Operations & Strategy Manager to establish and elevate the company’s operational and people functions for the region.

The incumbent will be optimizing and strengthening our existing personnel infrastructure, enhancing scalable systems, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring attract and retain the best talent.

Job Description:

  • Owned end-to-end HR operations for Hong Kong and guaranteed full compliance with local employment laws and served as a strategic advisor to the business on all Hong Kong HR matters.
  • Partnered with senior leadership to design and optimize organizational structures and workflows, directly aligning them with strategic growth objectives.
  • Developed scalable career frameworks and recommended data-informed structural improvements to enhance operational efficiency and talent mobility.
  • Standardize internal operation and HR processes and data management.
  • Coach leaders on people management and performance. Adapt and implement performance systems and deliver training to build leadership skills.
  • Lead HR integration for the company expansions, develop change management strategies for new initiatives.
  • Leveraged advanced HR analytics to generate actionable insights,transforming raw data into strategic recommendations that informed talent decisions and business planning.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of HR/People Operations experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally within a high-growth tech startup.
  • Proven expertise in HRIS management, with a track record of successfully selecting, implementing, and optimizing platforms (e.g., Rippling, BambooHR) to drive efficiency.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset; highly proficient with spreadsheets and data analysis tools, with SQL knowledge being a strong advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong employment law, compliance, and benefits administration (MPF, ordinances).
  • A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, with the ability to create structure from the ground up.
  • Solution-focused professional with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
