Our Client:
Our client is looking for an experienced finance professional to support their management team in handling finance-related matters within the Financial Accounting & Regulatory Reporting Department.
Job Description :
- Act as a key team member in HKRBC reporting (Finance stream), focusing on investment-related matters.
- Prepare and submit HKRBC quarterly returns, addressing queries from the Insurance Authority (IA).
- Monitor regulatory updates and ensure compliance with evolving HKRBC reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including participation in automation initiatives for HKRBC reporting.
- Support year-end audits related to HKRBC reporting.
- Handle ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Qualified Accountant (HKICPA or equivalent) with Minimum 3 years of experience in financial reporting for life insurance with knowledge of HKFRS 9.
- Big 4 candidates with audit/advisory experience in life insurance (HKFRS 9 & investment accounting) are welcome.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, adaptable, proactive, and solution-oriented with a positive attitude
- Strong proficiency in MS Office
- Fluency in written and verbal in English and Chinese.
