Key Responsibilities
Deliver application development, system enhancements, and technology modernization for business-critical applications, covering analysis, architecture, development, testing, and implementation.
Produce key project deliverables, including functional specifications, technical design documents, and test plans.
Partner with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Provide production support for mission-critical systems, resolving technical issues promptly to ensure stability, performance, and security.
Identify and mitigate technology risks, and collaborate with IT teams on cross-functional integration and shared-platform initiatives.
Drive technical excellence, promote SDLC best practices, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and governance.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Minimum 7 years of application development and production support experience, including large-scale, high-availability, mission-critical systems.
Strong programming and scripting skills in Java, JavaScript, React, Python, C/C++, and Linux shell scripting.
Hands-on web application development experience with Red Hat Linux, Apache, Tomcat, and Oracle and/or DB2 databases.
Good understanding of DevOps and modern software development methodologies; AWS, Huawei Cloud, and/or Microsoft .NET experience is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills; self-motivated, proactive, and effective in a fast-paced environment. Securities and/or derivatives industry knowledge is preferred.
