Our Client:
Our client is hiring an Individual Contributor to leverage their existing network and drive high-value Bancassurance partnerships across Chinese Private, Wealth, and Retail Banking channels.
The incumbent will be reporting to Department Head directly.
Job Description:
- Independently identify, structure, and execute strategic bancassurance partnerships with target Chinese banking partners to expand product distribution.
- Act as the primary senior bridge between internal product/operational teams and key stakeholders within partner banks to ensure alignment, governance, and operational efficiency.
- Partner directly with banking Relationship Managers (RMs) and Wealth Specialists to promote insurance solutions, conduct high-impact workshops/roadshows, and drive premium growth (FYP/AUM).
- Travel periodically to meet key decision-makers at bank headquarters and regional hubs (e.g., Greater Bay Area, Shanghai, Beijing) to cultivate deep institutional relationships.
- Deeply understand partner banks’ internal governance, KPI structures, and regulatory landscapes to design win-win distribution models.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Extensive, hands-on experience in Bancassurance management or wealth distribution, with a strict requirement of direct experience with Chinese banking institutions.
- Active professional network and demonstrated history of business origination within Chinese private banking, wealth management, or retail banking channels.
- Proven ability to operate as a high-performing Individual Contributor—self-motivated, hands-on, and capable of driving end-to-end projects without heavy team support.
- Willingness and capability to travel as required for client meetings, bank roadshows, and relationship-building across regional banking hubs.
- Superior stakeholder management, executive presentation skills, and a strong commercial mindset.
- Native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (essential for partner engagement) alongside fluent business English.
