Our client is looking for an Insurance Risk Expertise to manage their team supporting the business risk strategies.
The incumbent will be reporting to CRO directly.
Job Description:
- Responsible for the ORSA process in accordance with Insurance Authority’s guideline as well as ERM and HKRBC.
- Responsible for gap analysis, model validation, valuation of the HKTBC Target Capital, risk calculation and quantitative analysis.
- Participates in scenario stress testing, capital analysis and continuity analysis, etc.
- Perform regular reporting on capital and local solvency.
- Conduct risk assessment and mitigation plan on new products, reinsurance studies, ALM initiatives and capital optimization.
- Facilitate the updates of risk appetite, risk management framework and risk register when necessary.
- Conduct policy and internal control reviews, and liaise with internal and external auditors where necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder with Risk Management, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
- Enterprise Risk Management training with designation by professional associations (i.e. IRM, FRM, SOA, etc.)
- Minimum 8 years’ experience with managerial experience preferably came from insurance companies or financial institutions.
- Experience in ORSA and Reporting in GI and Life Insurance will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership with excellent Interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
- Superb command in written and spoken English and Chinese.
