Our client –is a family-owned clothing and accessories company founded in Denmark in 1975. With headquarter in Beijing. Currently having four brands in more than 500 cities and over 7300 concept stores. They are currently looking for an experienced Category Design Manager for their successful women’s fashion brand.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and take immediate action on sampling fast moving trends, based on inspiration trips in Asia (Tokyo/ Seoul/ Hong Kong) as well as local research and follow up of the trend forecasting’s webs
- Analyze sales figures/ orders, and being ahead of trend and consumer needs
- Constantly upgrade the fabric quality, fitting and product according to the trend and market demands
- Constantly source latest offers/ trimmings/ fabrics/ treatments/ from suppliers in China (in cooperation with buying department)
- Be able to manage a small team of Jersey and Graphic designers
Job Requirements:
- Qualified designer- minimum Bachelor degree in Fashion
- Proven experience in designing wool (minimum 3-4 years) is an advantage
- Proven experience of managing and leading the team (minimum 1 year)
- Excellent illustrator and photoshop skills are a must
- You will be a team player and able to build relationships
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Candidate with less experience will consider as a Junior Category Design Manager
