Our Global IT Solution Vendor client are currently seeking a suitable applicant to join their solution services team. The candidate is responsible for:
Responsibilities:
- Proactively maintain effective working relationships with peer groups and key internal stakeholders and manage key external stakeholders relevant to the achievement of business objectives, where relevant.
- Ensure that correct routing information, backups, file review and archiving, database purging and other routine housekeeping activities are performed.
- Monitor network data streams and event log data to ensure that gateway operations are optimised and maintained.
- Maintain the configuration, documentation and procedures of the Gateway environments.
- Ensure that service availability meets service availability guidelines (SLA’s).
Requirements:
- A degree in IT or has successfully completed relevant industry courses (MCP, CompTIA)
- At least 3-4 years’ experience working in a similar role
- Demonstrates effective communication of security issues to business managers and others.
- Experience in Gateway Environments including email and web applications. Networking knowledge including TCP/IP and SMTP.
