Our client, a leading banking group, is urgently looking for the Department Head to join their product development team.
Job Description:
- Lead and drive the product team so as to achieve competitive edge for deposits, wealth and loan products and retail payments projects, responsible for product launches and tactical plans to meet customers’ changing needs and to deliver business growth
- Actively interact with various stakeholders, including Sales and Distribution and digital channels to establish rapport and ensure efficient execution of business activities
- Assist in business growth on revenues, balances, turnover and core banking sales activities
- Develop insightful analytics and customer / product MIs to understand customer behavior, revenue dynamics and trend, and in turn drive continuous improvement of product development and profitability management
- Manage change and fine-tune processes to shorten processing time and improve customer journey
- Collaborate with Marketing in the planning, development and implementation of creative and cost-effective marketing campaigns to drive the Bank’s deposits growth, enhance deposit products and all banking services, and create incremental revenue to the business
- Ensure relevant control measures are in place to minimize the risk exposure of the Bank as well as meeting all the internal standard, compliance, policies and regulation
Job Requirements:
- University Degree in Finance or other relevant disciplines/qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of product development experience in deposits, wealth and loan products, retail payment, customer journey development within Retail Banking, with solid proven senior management exposure
- Results oriented with proven track record of driving business growth
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem solving capabilities
- Strong project management; proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
- Numerate individual, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of application software MS Excel
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese
