Job Description:
- Lead and manage IT projects for the life insurance group, focusing on core systems.
- Utilize strong technical application development background to provide guidance and oversight to development teams.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project goals.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor project progress, and mitigate risks.
- Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT project management team.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in application design, development and support
- Familiar with insurance core systems (i.e. Policy Administration , Claims , or Underwriting workflow / process)
- Experienced in team leading and vendor management (Hong Kong and China)
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English
