Our banking clients are currently seeking a suitable applicant to join their elite team. The candidate is responsible for:
To provide work estimates for proposed system changes and contribute to establishing the feasibility and economic justification for IT projects;
To analyse user requirements to produce Functional and/or System specifications and provide coaching to analyst programmers or external developers to carry out programming tasks;
To conduct “Quality Assurance” testing to ensure that system can operate accurately, effectively and efficiently; and assist users in preparing the user acceptance test plan;
To provide user training and support to enable users to operate the system effectively;
To prepare system documentation, e.g. functional specification, user training guide, etc., according to guidelines laid down in documentation standards; and review program documentation prepared by Analyst Programmers so as to ensure the system maintainability;
To train HKIT staff including users on new and existing system features and functions;
To analyse user problems and ad-hoc inquires and to provide business / technical solutions; and
To support development manager on resource planning and monitoring as well as staff performance management.
To handle ad-hoc assignments
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in system development, support and maintenance;Minimum 1 year of team leading experience of at least 3 team members.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and staff coaching skills, particularly in integrating and recommending various complicated IT / business solutions;
Able to lead system development projects independently;
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese and ability to speak Putonghua an advantage
