Our Client:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Manager to oversee the licensing and compliance operations for agency. An ideal candidate will be supporting the Manager in process, operation, improvement and team leadership.

The incumbent will be reporting to Manager directly.

Job Description:

  • Manage the end-to-end licensing process for agency including applications, renewals, and amendments.
  • Monitor license expiration dates and ensure timely renewals.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with insurance departments and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with HR and training teams to onboard new agents and ensure licensing requirements are met.
  • Audit internal processes to ensure adherence to state and insurance regulations.
  • Resolve licensing-related issues and act as a liaison with state departments and third-party vendors.
  • Train staff on compliance protocols and licensing software/tools.
  • Assist in preparing reports for senior management and regulatory audits.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field.
  • 3+ years in insurance licensing, compliance, or regulatory affairs in insurance company.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, strong communication skills for internal/external stakeholder collaboration.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
