A Global insurance company is currently looking for a regulatory risk professional to join their team supporting the regulatory and conduct risk area.
The incumbent will be reporting to Chief Risk Officer directly.
Job Description:
- Support and provide guidance and advice to the business areas on daily regulatory risk according to governance framework.
- Manage and assure internal procedure in line with local regulations and internal policy standards.
- Identify regulatory and conduct risk issues, and propose recommendations and solutions.
- Analyze and provide guidance on regulatory changes and build up ongoing risk management to assurance strategies.
- Carried out risk identification, assessment, controls, monitoring and reporting for related business areas.
- Directly deal with regulators and maintain an excellent work relationship.
- Design and manage to deliver regular and ad-hoc training related to regulatory and conduct risk.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and the impact / potential impact could have on the business.
- Participate in project management and ad-hoc assignment when required.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder with minimum 8 years’ experience working in a regulatory risk role.
- Sound knowledge of Insurance / Financial Services legislations and regulations in HK
- Solid experience in internal and external risk monitoring, regulatory compliance and management.
- Excellent people and organizational skills.
- Superb command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
