Our client is currently looking for an Assistant Manager to support their product development team.
The incumbent will be directly reporting to Senior Manager.
Job Description:
- With a core focus on product development of General Insurance, Medical and Life insurance products.
- Lead the team to conduct market research, analysis and reports on regular basis.
- Assist to manage and implement product from approval & product development process to launch.
- Work closely with different business units and frontline teams to provide competitive and quality products and service to customers according to the business strategy and direction.
- Responsible for product presentation, specifications, approval documents, project schedule, policy provisions, launch pack, assessment checklist for regular requirements, new product evaluation form and relevant risk assessment, guidelines and procedures throughout the product development stage.
- Coordinate and monitor the delivery of product materials, tools, product training prior the product launch.
- Provide recommendations to management by closely reviewing and monitoring the business results.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in marketing or insurance related disciplines or actuarial students who want to develop their career in product development.
- Holder of IIQAS / FLMI / ACII / AAII designations or other related professional / insurance status is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in insurance, solid product knowledge in Life and non-life insurance products.
- Excellent communication, leadership and people skills, pro-active with strong sense of responsibilities.
- Experience in drafting policy provisions.
- Good understanding in insurance operation is absolutely an advantage.
- Superb command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
