Our client, a leading banking group, is urgently looking for a Manager to join their Branch Distribution Sales team.
Job Description:
- Formulate product sales targets for branches according to the Bank’s strategic direction and business focus
- Collect relevant data for refinement of the sales performance management system and reward management system so as to align with the business goals of the Bank
- Compile sales management reports on a timely and quality manner for management information and decision
- Conduct monitoring, measurement and analyses of branch sales performance against target on a periodic basis, and advise management on performance gaps
- Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives for branches and frontline staff
- Develop ad hoc analytics and sales / business models related to branch network, product performance, branch / sales staff performance, branch headcounts from time to time
- Assist in branch network planning and conduct sales force planning with management on business growth
- Establish KPI and sales target for branches sales staff and develop sales incentive schemes
Job Requirements:
- University degree in Banking / Accounting / Finance / Business Administration or related disciplines
- Minimum 6 years of experience in sales management function within retail banking sector
- Sound knowledge in retail banking products and sales management
- Proficient in SAS, SQL, VBA, MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc
- Good business acumen and sensitive to figures
- Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, independent, self-motivated, flexible and able to work under pressure; effective team player with good leadership
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua
- Good understanding of banking products and banking operations
- Good understanding of risk management concepts, primarily credit risk.
- Proficiency in Basel capital and liquidity frameworks
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Internal capital demands (economic capitals), risk appetite, capital planning, stress testing, credit concentration, risk return analytics
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint is a must
- Proficiency in VBA or SAS is preferred
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
