Job Description:
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team in the development, validation, and optimization of credit risk models, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
- Implement advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to enhance model accuracy, performance, and predictive capabilities across various credit risk products.
- Oversee the end-to-end data management process, including sourcing, cleaning, and transforming large datasets to derive actionable insights for credit risk assessment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate model outputs into strategic business decisions, providing guidance on risk appetite and mitigation strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring that modeling practices are innovative and compliant with best practices in credit risk management.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in fields such as Computer Science, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Engineering, or related areas, with over ten years of relevant experience.
- Required familiarity with credit scoring model development and a strong understanding of feature selection and the data modeling process; experience in consumer credit or credit card modeling is preferred.
- Knowledge of the entire predictive analysis process, including data validation, model diagnosis, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Proficient in at least one statistical analysis software (e.g., Python or SAS) and skilled in SQL programming.
- Strong project management, logical thinking, and communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese); demonstrating responsibility and a collaborative team spirit.
