Our client is a well-known insurance group focusing in Life business, to cope with their business expansion. They are looking for a Compliance Manager taking care of their compliance advisory and AML monitoring.
The incumbent will be reporting to Department Head directly.
Job Description:
- Assess compliance risks of business practice, development, operations, AML monitoring and advisory.
- Provide support and guidance on law and practice affecting the organization, review, develop and update of company policies to ensure compliance in line with business and regulatory requirements.
- Perform transaction surveillance and handle reporting of STRs and conduct AML Compliance review/testing.
- Interact and deal with regulators or auditors on issues and visits and preparing regulatory filings.
- Co-ordinate and lead ad-hoc compliance related projects and tasks.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder with minimum 8 years’ experience in compliance from insurance or financial institutions.
- Certified accountant or relevant international qualification in finance or law preferable
- Good decision making with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive with good time management, able to work effectively with people at all levels within the company
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin
