Our banking client is looking for the System Analyst / Analyst Programmer
Job Description:
- Design, develop, and provide support for the Core Banking System using mainframe languages.
- Gather and analyze user requirements, estimate resource needs, and create project schedules.
- Collaborate with IT teams, various departments, and vendors to ensure effective project implementation.
- Engage in system studies and analysis to identify enhancements and optimize processes.
- Adhere to established standards and guidelines for application development to maintain quality and security.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience in mainframe programming languages (e.g., COBOL, JCL) and familiarity with Core Banking Systems.
- Strong ability to gather and analyze user requirements, estimate resources, and create detailed project schedules.
- Proven experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with IT departments, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability to engage in system studies and analysis, identifying enhancements and optimizing existing processes.
- Knowledge of application development standards and guidelines to ensure quality, security, and compliance in all deliverables.
