Our Client:
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to oversee their compliance programs and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
The incumbent will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring compliance policies and procedures as well as ensuring that all operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance program that meets regulatory requirements and company standard.
- Monitor changes in regulations affecting the insurance sector and assess their impact on the organization.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related matters and best practices.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory bodies and senior management.
- Investigate compliance violations and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
- Foster a culture of compliance within the organization.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in the disciplines of Business / Accounting / Law or related disciplines.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in handling regulatory compliance preferably gained from an insurance environment.
- Responsible, proactive with attention to details and be able to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with different counterparts.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
