Our client, a leading banking group, is urgently looking for the Deputy to join their Trade Finance Department.
Job Description:
- Assist the Head of Trade Finance Department in overseeing daily operation of the department as well as planning, directing, coordinating and marketing trade finance products
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business, credit, risk and compliance departments to ensure seamless execution of trade operations in adherence to the Bank’s policies and procedures
- Keep abreast of the trade products and services and regulatory requirements, continuously enhancing professional knowledge and skills
- Build a strong risk and controls focused operations and working closely with the business partners to ensure high quality services are delivered and enhance trade customers experiences
- Review current trade operation processes, maximize work efficiencies by proactively streamlining the trade operations workflow and system automation
- Perform any ad hoc projects as assigned by the Head of Trade Finance Department and Executive Committee
- Develop and implement the Department’s strategic plan and objectives, plan and execute the budgeting and aim to achieve the Bank’s goal
- Support department management and manage different sections to contribute to sustained, profitable growth of the Bank
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above with major in Economics, Finance or related disciplines
- Substantial experience in trade related operation, possessed relevant qualification, with at least 5 years in management capacity
- In-depth trade operations experience and knowledge
- Strong sense in risk control, compliance and AML
- Good leadership and management skills; and strong in managing and developing teams
- Self-motivated and independent
- Strong communication skill and able to work under pressure
- Proficient in spoken and written English & Mandarin
