The Insurance Product Development Officer creates and manages insurance products to meet market needs and regulatory standards.
The incumbent will be reporting to Manager directly.
Job Description:
- Design and develop new insurance products. Collaborate with operation teams to ensure product feasibility and profitability.
- Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends and competitive offerings. Gather and analyze data to inform product design and enhancements.
- Ensure that all products comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Lead teams through the product development process, manage timelines and budgets.
- Oversee testing to assess product performance, analyze feedback for improvements.
- Train sales and marketing teams on new products; create marketing materials and product documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Insurance.
- 3+ years of experience in insurance product development.
- Strong analytical, communication and teamwork abilities with strong project management experience.
- Proficient in data analysis tools.
