Job Description:
- Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and execution of IT projects and initiatives within the bank’s Project Management Office (PMO)
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and status reports to track project progress and milestones
- Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status meetings, and retrospectives to ensure effective communication and collaboration across stakeholders
- Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, and work with project teams to develop mitigation strategies
- Provide guidance and support to project managers and teams on project management best practices and PMO processes
- Maintain the bank’s project management information system, including project data, documents, and performance metrics
- Assist with the development and continuous improvement of the bank’s project management methodology and templates
- Collaborate with IT, business, and operations teams to ensure projects are delivering expected benefits and outcomes
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree holder
- 2+ years IT project management / coordination experience with Bank or Financial Services Industry
- Knowledge in PMP, Agile or waterfall is preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with banking operations, systems, and regulatory requirements an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
