A major bank in Hong Kong, offering a range of banking and financial services to both individual and corporate customers
Job Description:
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the bank’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Manage and monitor the performance of the bank’s network to ensure optimal availability, security, and reliability.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, such as access controls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks.
- Analyze network traffic and troubleshoot any issues or bottlenecks to optimize network performance.
- Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, or migrations to newer technologies.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in company science, information technology, or a related field
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and management, preferably in the banking / financial services industry
- Hands-on experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Knowledge of network protocols, design, and security best practices
- Experience in implementing and managing network monitoring and management tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written Chinese and English.
