Job Description:
- Negotiate freight rates, capacity and service terms with carriers, airlines and LATAM agents, control costs and safeguard profit margins for China-LATAM export shipments.
- Handle booking arrangements, resolve operational troubles and offer urgent escalation support for shipment delays and service disruptions for Chinese exporters.
- Develop and sustain long-term partnerships with domestic exporters, logistics suppliers and overseas counterparts to expand business resources.
- Assist in bidding projects, bulk shipment businesses and key client maintenance, serving as the primary liaison for Chinese exporters prior to confirmed bookings.
- Collaborate closely with commercial, customer service and operations teams across Latin America to align workflows and deliver consistent operational quality.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain or related disciplines; 3–5 years of freight forwarding experience focusing on China-Latin America export shipping business.
- In-depth familiarity with China-LATAM trade routes and export workflows, with solid experience cooperating with exporters, carriers, airlines and logistics partners.
- Outstanding negotiation and supplier management skills, capable of controlling costs, securing competitive pricing and safeguarding profit margins.
- Able to cope with tight schedules and shipment emergencies efficiently, equipped with commercial awareness and customer-centric service mindset.
- Proficient in written and spoken English, adept at cross-cultural communication; willing to extend working hours to coordinate with Latin American teams across time zones.
