Reporting to the Team Head, the incumbent will be responsible for handling complex case assessments and managing projects aimed at reviewing and enhancing operational workflows.
This position provides autonomy, significant enterprise visibility, and the opportunity to shape key processes.
Job Description:
- Conduct thorough underwriting assessments for all new business applications.
- Review and provide recommendations on cases referred by junior underwriters, including those involving large amounts and complex risk profiles.
- Assist in monitoring and managing underwriting performance standards to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Analyze existing workflows and systems to identify and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure the consistency and quality of all underwriting decisions.
- Guarantee that all underwriting activities comply with the company’s operational guidelines and policies.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree with a professional designation (FLMI, ICA, or equivalent).
- At least 8 years of life insurance underwriting and project handling experience.
- Exceptional analytical, risk assessment, and leadership skills.
- Adaptable, improvement-focused, and customer-centric mindset.
- Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (both written and spoken).
