Our Client:
An exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to take on a broad role encompassing financial control, management reporting, and business intelligence.
The incumbent will be reporting to the Manager directly.
Job Description:
- Financial Reporting:Prepare and finalize monthly management reports and group-level reporting in compliance with HKGAAP.
- Month-End Closing:Lead the month-end closing process, including the preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Data Analysis & Visualization:Structure and analyze large, complex datasets to deliver actionable business insights. Develop and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Audit & Compliance:Manage the interim and year-end audit processes, including the preparation of financial statements and disclosures, and act as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Process Improvement: Provide ad-hoc accounting support and participate in system enhancement projects, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for accounting system upgrades.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- HKICPA Qualified or Finalist.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial and management reporting, with a strong preference for candidates from the Insurance industry.
- Knowledge of IFRS 17 and proven experience in financial data analysis are distinct advantages.
- Advanced technical skills in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI are essential.
