Lead the execution of data strategy initiatives for the Bank for visible business benefit
Lead and drive data strategy and governance across the division, aligned to the data strategy of the Bank
Collaborate with other divisions to help define the data strategy for the Bank
Guide the data improvements needed for regulatory activities defined by the Bank’s Data Strategy
Define the standard methodology, responsibilities and deliverables that capture the details of every level of architecture
Establish and share architectural best practices and lessons learned
Build relationships and trust with key business stakeholders to understand business strategy and future needs
Define and maintain architecture standards and principles for the enterprise
Recommend and participate in the analysis, evaluation and development of enterprise long-term strategic and operating plans to ensure that the enterprise architecture objectives are consistent with the enterprise’s long-term business objectives
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role with Bank or financial services industry
Certification in one or more Enterprise Architecture frameworks
Strong understanding of Data Architecture concepts and standards (data governance, data lineage, data modelling, data quality), process modelling and operating model design
Broad knowledge of enterprise information management including, Extract, Transform and Load, Data Warehousing, Master Data Management, Data Analytics and Big Data
Excellent data modelling skills, specifically around logical and physical models from both business requirements and reverse-engineering of existing databases
An awareness of financial services industry data models
Well-developed business and requirements analysis skills, including excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
