Our client is a Chinese corporate with a focus in life insurance business. To cope with their business expansion, they are now looking for an Assistant Compliance Manager supporting their compliance advisory and AML monitoring.

The incumbent will be reporting to Department Head directly.

 

Job Description:

  • Assess compliance risks of business practice, development, operations, AML monitoring and advisory.
  • Assist and support including guidance on law and practice affecting the organization, review, develop and update of company policies to ensure compliance in line with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform transaction surveillance and handle reporting of STRs and conduct AML Compliance review/testing.
  • Interact and deal with regulators or auditors on issues and visits and preparing regulatory filings.
  • Co-ordinate and lead ad-hoc compliance related projects and tasks.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder with at least 3 years hands on insurance compliance experience gained from Insurance / Financial Institutions.
  • Prior compliance experiences in insurance firms is highly recommended.
  • Good judgement skills with excellent communication and people skills
  • Proactive with good time management, able to work effectively with people at all levels within the company
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin
